Artist Analysis
So. The video starts with some clips from a live performance
It shows Stephanie's singing history and cat(s)!
It shows how the band has chemistry when performing and also just chilling.
The band consists of Stephanie's lead vocals, 2 guitarists, a bass player & drummer.
There are short clips from various songs, and all sound great.
I can tell they are really professional in their work and they have a really radio-ready sound.
Excellent standard of country and western, with a sense of pop-appeal that i've seen from Taylor Swift.
The song playing near the end of this promotional video is 'Too Young To Be Lonely'
And finally 'Life's Okay'.
I haven't usually reviewed promotional videos of this sort so i'm gonna go find the last song that played and review that!
Song Review
Listening to Life's Okay by Stephanie Grace
it's not playing on spotify, i'm gonna google it.

Starting with a ukelele! that's unique in 2017. Some guitars playing strummed muted chords in the background with another backing it up with a soft pad-like twang.
Wow, what a voice! So, she reminds me a bit of Shania Twain? Kelly Clarkson? Katy Perry? Yes! I think it's similar to hearing Katy Perry in the strength of her voice.
I love the bass's mixing which is driving the song while the other instruments support it beautifully.
The song has a great structure and development. Excellent mixing, for example the cymbals are low in the mix but you can still hear everything well.
The guitars & snares seem to be around the same volume level as each other but the cymbals are layered underneath that. It's a beautiful style of mixing, not harsh on the ear at all.
This is important, because Stephanie Grace's voice is so smooth and soft, the band need to be mixed similarly and the whole thing fits together like a glove. Kudos to the engineer!
3:25, there are some crowd chanted vocals, and there's an organ supporting the main melodic theme.
The song is uplifting and positive. I think it would be a motivational song for any time of year.
For a song review I would like to focus on the sound itself, but the video is well made with smiling photographs which perfectly compliment the overall feel of the song.
Well, it's an exceptionally well made song and it's clear to me that this band are going to go far.
Incidentally it requires some impressive humility for a band to take the name of the lead singer, and stay in the background. That definitely deserves some acknowledgement.
For the song itself, I avoid giving higher scores than realistic, but 10/10 and i'm going to stop talking now!
Oh by the way, one more thing - The chord progression is similar to 'Don't Stop Believing'. It's a classic chord progression, but that is another reason why this band and artist deserve respect, because the song does have their unique sound to it even with a classic chord progression. The song appears to be bursting with chemistry, energy & positivity between the band members
