minor key
beautiful voice
"no-one gets me like you do" is the first line
this has excellent songwriting
is this the Kate Bush of the modern day era's industry?
She has a voice a bit like Haley Gibby (deadmau5/kaskade i remember)
the chord progression is excellent, i now see why this is so popular.
pure skill here
I'm hearing a guitar-like instrument, i know it's not a synth but it sounds different to a guitar, is it a mandolin?
Anyway. Live drums, mixed softly, almost like the james bond theme (jazz-style drum mix)
The drum pattern is more rock based though.
1 7b 4 6b is the chord progression, but the 4 is MAJOR
this is a very clever way to sneak in a pseudo-tierce de picardie!
She is a very creative & skilled singer songwriter. i wonder who is the producer?
If she is also the producer, give this girl a medal.
if not, the producer is brilliant regardless.
She has a haunting vocal tone which is mixed extremely well with subtle reverb.
I can imagine this making a Progressive House high charting remix.
I would say the genre of this original mix is - alternative indie / ambient electronica
and i realise now, it wasn't a mandolin, it was a piano but the inside of the strings are being plucked or hit.
It's an amazing way to use a piano in an obscure way.
I have been trying to hold it back, but RosesAreBlue is a creative genius.
Song score: 10/10.

5 minutes later:
you know who i think should remix this? Extantrionz (alternative EDM).
He's an artist featured in the Audiozoo playlist.
If you get Alex Byrka, AirTraffic or Shion Hanano to do a Progressive House remix of this, RosesAreBlue wins the internet!
