Personally I think they should be called 'Songchat' instead of 'Chatsong', but that is a minor issue.
What is most important is how the artists are benefiting from this.
It does appear that artists are able to post some information about their music, and Chatsong has reviews about their music on the site, which is for the purpose of increasing global visibility for the artists. Sounds good.
Oh here it is, that makes sense! So basically you click on the top line with the @ symbol in it which takes you to the artist review.
What i've recently been thinking is this; when you see a successful artist's name on a youtube vid link, you feel like you already know how the song is going to sound.
This is a good thing, even though it means the artist is probably not experimenting with other genres, which could be seen as a negative, but it is a good thing ultimately because the viewers know what to expect & this means previous good impressions will encourage a click on the new video.
So! When we are presenting a review about a song that new listeners have never heard before, or even heard of the artist before, it is beneficial to the artist & the listener to be as descriptive about the song as possible.
My personal aim is to write in a way that a person inflicted with deafness can understand the song even without hearing it.
That's what I want to do. I want to include deaf people in the enjoyment of music.
I want music to be for EVERYONE. This is also why I try to keep my religious opinions out of my work with Audiozoo.
I don't want to exclude people, because music is truly a universal language.
Okay, I admit you can't hear sound in the vacuum of space but I digress
It's not actually 'song reviews' that I'm doing, they would be better described as 'translations of music into words'.
When I comment on song on soundcloud, my aim is to prove I listened. This means I have to actually state what I'm hearing to the maker of the song.
I say what I hear.
When I share the song on twitter, I like to use hashtags that categorise the song's style so that people can discover it from relevant hashtag searches.
This isn't written to criticise Chatsong, but writing it has helped me to understand where I am getting things right or not, and what things are important when I'm writing a review, and what things I should continue doing or not.
Okay, some good points of Chatsong are:
1. They are doing reviews for artists to help their music get more exposure
2. It is a free service (as far as I know)
3. The reviews are always written positively, not bashing the artists unfairly
4. The reviews also allow the artists' (or bands') website links and biographies to be included where desired
5. Chatsong is a breath of fresh air which counteracts the dog-eat-dog type of community which can easily become common practise on sites that allow artists to present their music (such as soundcloud)
I wish them continued growth and success.

A criticism:
I think it is important that not all reviews score maximum, because then the effectiveness of the scores given can become questionable. Criticism is a difficult thing to give, especially online, where certain forms of expression are difficult to read, and good intentions can sometimes get obscured through limits of language & text-based expression. However it is important to be daring enough to say what needs to be said, even if you explain afterwards what your intentions for pointing it out are, for clarity.
Otherwise, Chatsong.nl is a good site!
A special shoutout to 'Chatsong Rob' for his hard work in building the site & great mentaility towards artist development, song reviewing & promotion.
