Comment text dump:i'm gonna repost it later when i'm using the other page. um, i'm gonna stop it here a minute - i need to say something. This recording is a bit rough around the edges, but, you are a good guitarist, and you are also a good songwriter. I think areas of improvement would be: you can benefit from learning more about producing electronic music & multi-tracking. I'm curious about what software you're using, also I would like to find out who your favourite artists are (like top 5 personal favourites) so i can understand what direction you might be trying to go in. Not a bad demo though! At least you're talented! There's potential surprising choice to fade out there that's an interesting drum pattern sweet break there some nice chords! a percussion solo! wow a harmonica? that's different for electronic music, but nice okay the guitar part is brilliant i see, you're a singer-songwriter & producer some pretty good drum programming Comments Image:

Alright buddy! Thanks for letting me know what types of software you are using! I will try to add more Cubase related content to the forum for you over time. I know of some good Reason tutorials, not sure how much they will help you but here's the link! audiozoo.proboards.com/thread/82/useful-links-information-advice-producersWhat I think I should do, is help you with mixing & mastering. I'd like to get the audio of the song I heard from you, then I'll mix & master it, and write a tweak sheet to show you what I've changed, so you can decide what techniques you'd like to use and what you don't. Best way would be to send it by sendspace.com in a private message, if you'd be happy to do that!

Very impressed by your Santa Monica track. It felt like a summer smash hit single, on the beach, listening to that.

Hi Jermaine,
im ok with sending you the audio of my track!! Just want to make sure on how to proceed. Do you want me to send you all my tracks individually as mp3. With or without the effects that are already there? Just let me know.
Thanks again for your help!!

Cool! um, yeah, this is great! The hard part is: 1. Make sure the song bpm stays locked 2. Export each instrument or vocal part separately with no effects 3. You can bounce them as mp3s so it is easier for you to upload smaller files than wav 4. I recommend wrapping the mp3 stems into a winrar or winzip file 5. Then you can upload the .rar or .zip to sendspace.com6. Then you can direct message me the sendspace link. What happens next: - I will try to mix and master the song - I will try to create a list of things i've changed (either as I change them or summarise afterwards) - I will upload the tweaked stems for you as a rar to sendpace & direct message it to you - I will upload the mastered .wav to soundcloud as a private track - I will allow Audiozoo members to be able to hear the mastered track - I will give you links to download the mastered .wav & the .mp3 of it - You can do what you want with it! I'll do this for you free of charge.
