It's been a year since Audiozoo started, & I'd like to let everyone who was involved with the project know about a new solution for Artists, Bands & Producers needing to get their music heard whether it's in a work in progress stage or a finished track.
1. RepostExchange | Blog - Getting Started with RepostExchange
repostexchange.com/blog/getting-started-with-repostexchange
This is basically the new CloudKillers. Listen to other people's music & you'll get yours listened to. Similar to Atom Collector Records. RepostExchange also has an offer that for $24.99 you can get 1000 credits which will get your music heard which is useful in case you don't have time to listen to lots of music or just don't want to for whatever reason.
If you signup with this link i'll get 50 play credits repostexchange.com/hi?r=MJAWD
2. Moods | Discover music on Orfium
www.orfium.com/music/moods/
This site has a discovery platform alongside the ability to monetize your music through paid streaming or downloads. Users of Orfium whether consumers, publishers or record labels can discover music that has been uploaded via Mood based metatags. This gives everyone an opportunity to be heard.
More about Orfium (my first impressions)
I want to share with you some useful information I recently discovered.
I have hated Soundcloud for a long time for various reasons I have documented on the Audiozoo forum posts. However, the good news is that Soundcloud has a major competitor now:
Orfium.
On Orfium, you can tag you uploads by MOOD
meaning people who are browsing the site by mood can discover other people's music, that is better than Soundcloud Groups!
Also, you can link your PayPal account to your Orfium account & when you get streams Orfium take 20% but you get 80% of the stream revenue.
Also, Orfium is completely free to use.
Also, you can directly import your Soundcloud uploads to Orfium, just turn on Downloadable option temporarily then import the tracks, then turn off Downloadable option in soundcloud.
Oh, also! You can upload an unlimited amount of music to Orfium. Soundcloud extort us for upload space.
3. Clyp.it
I've mentioned Clyp.it in the past as a potential alternative to Soundcloud in case SC shut down, but now I'm mentioning Clyp.it as a current effective way to get your music heard & discovered.
