I just got started on preparing to remix this.

I'm just importing the stems so i'm listening to each indivisual element.
My reaction: "oh my god! wtf! how.. are you serious?"
Basically, all the little elements that I didn't even notice when all the parts are playing together, bring me to the conclusion that Alloy is SERIOUSLY under-rated.
His drum programming. At one point i thought "this is like something Pharrell would make (The Neptunes)"
It's not just the drum programming, it's subtle layers - i don't want to be too specific because he invented these ideas and i'd prefer people discover them by listening as opposed to me just explaining it all without people hearing it for themselves.
Damn man.. i don't even know what to say. There's a lot of details that you wouldn't even notice unless you get to hear it all separated. Wow.
