SoundCloud doesn't have ads, but SoundCloud makes money by selling us Pro memberships.
If you are a kind person, and you re-post other people's music, your own music will not appear at the top of your page.
If you are a self-focused person who never re-posts anything, you can run a free SoundCloud page and not need a Spotlight.
Why should a person have to pay £45 a year just because they are kind?
That is unethical in my opinion.
