Personally I think it's better we keep Hip Hop & Rap separate from the Summer 2017 Playlist.
The thinking is this:
You have Beatport (EDM), and you have Def Jam (Hip Hop USA).
If you found Def Jam artists (like Drake) on Beatport, Beatport would be too non-specific.
If you found Beatport artists (like Deadmau5) on Def Jam, Def Jam would be too non-specific.
The Summer 2017 Playlist is specifically for the promotional support of:
- Music Producers - Bands (varying amount of members - solo to 5 piece etc)
That gives an opportunity to talented music makers whether they are putting out electronic or acoustic work.
The Audiozoo Presents: Composers Playlist is specifically for music that I think could be licensed for use in film and animated productions, TV & YouTube adverts and other things like that.
If Audiozoo curates a playlist to promote Hip Hop & Rap artists, it would be focused on their vocal/lyrical ability not the production standard.
Thanks for reading.

I have to admit though, in your case things are different - you make your own beats & I give a priority to positive overall message in hip hop.
There's enough negativity already succeeding in mainstream hip hop!
