I used to be under the impression that if people didn't appreciate when i gave 100%, I should give 200% for them to help them to see value in the effort.
But now that I realise some people appreciate 1-20%, the people who need more than 100% can really do what they want but i'm no longer interested.
It's the same with expressing ideas, and it relates to art poetry, music, whatever. Any content creator can relate to this I think.
If you are expressing an idea, and people don't appreciate it, the solution is not to try harder for their attention, just let them go.
Other people will recognise the value in what you are doing even if they only see a small percentage of it.
Those are the people who are worth your time.
