If you've ever played a game that has a virtual currency, you will know that you don't have to get permission from someone or some system, to make progress.
For a long time I expected that if success was going to come, it would be from a music industry professional finding my music, believing in it and wanting to help me succeed.
I'm not motivated by that anymore. I want to make progress in real life like I can in games, where I don't need someone else's belief in my efforts or desire to create an opportunity for me.
I want to identify opportunities for myself, and act on them, make them happen. Then my effort is unlimited, and success in an achievable goal is an eventuality, not a hope or a dream.
That's what motivates me.
